Client Testimonials
Reassuring
Yoshi armed us with strategies that both feel intuitive and work! Her approach is great, she highlights all the good things you are doing and I came away empowered.
Exhausted to Energy
My daughter was waking up at 4am every day and fighting going back to sleep. Yoshi looked at my daughter’s whole world and made kind adjustments to suit us as a family and stopped those 4am wake ups.
Confidence
Everyone was giving me different advice on my son’s sleep. But nothing was working.Yoshi explained to me why this wasn’t working and then gave science based strategies (that worked). I now feel confident about my son’s sleep and tell my Mother-in-law the facts!
About Me
I’ve worked as a Behaviour Psychologist for almost ten years. I hold a Bachelor of Science, Masters of Science and I am months away from completing a Doctorate in Psychology- it’s fair to say I’m well qualified!
Before having my Son (Denzel), I worked with children and young adults, teaching a wide range of skills. Skills included but were not limited too: learning to communicate; regulate emotions; eating a balanced diet; supporting sleep; play skills ; life skills and the list goes on. I formed strong bonds with every learner and continue to catch up with them regularly.
After having Denzel I was horrified by the false information being pushed onto parents. I found myself commenting on posts, correcting the false information being used to advertise their services. Surprisingly, this feedback was never warmly received. Naturally, I began helping demystify parenting for new friends that I had made. It was a friend who said to me ‘you should really do this as a job’ and the rest is history.

Neurodiversity
Yoshi is an active researcher of Neurodiversities and has worked with this population for over ten years using strength based practices.
I have worked with a wide variety of learners, both in terms of age and the areas in which they require support to strengthen. I have worked with learners from 2 years old to 51 years old. From teaching the learner how to communicate, to teaching the learner how to find meaningful companionship. I have extensive experience working with non-verbal and pre-verbal learners.
My skillset is not only limited to autism. I have extensive knowledge and experience in typical co-morbid mental health barriers, such as Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety and Depression. I am a strong believer in using a Multidisciplinary approach. As a result, I have strong and positive working relationships with Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other Professionals.
